While we can all agree that the holidays are a magical time of the year, we can also probably agree that sometimes we take that magic for granted. When the snow starts to fall, we put up our Christmas trees, and our kids start practicing Jingle Bells on their recorders, we know it’s time to make our shopping lists, and check them twice.
This isn’t the case for some families. For some families, the magic is overshadowed by the devastation of a sick child going through treatment; by days spent inside hospital rooms; and by weeks spent away from home.
For these families, we can help give the gift of holiday magic. We can donate items that will alleviate the stress of Christmas planning, and make things easier during a very difficult time in their lives. Please consider donating some items to our Houses this Christmas. All items donated will be given to families on Christmas morning in our Santa Sacks program. We also accept and encourage the donation of gift cards in $25 and $50 denominations.
